CATALONIA WIN MEN'S BLANES GOLDEN CUP 2010 |
Catalonia have won their fifth Blanes Golden Cup by defeating the Sather Blanes by 3-0 .
Jordi Bargalló scored his first goal in 20 seconds for Catalonia, but Blanes Sather has struggled hard despite this initial goal. Both teams were aware of the opponent's level and have maintained the tension at all times, without any of the two teams got a goal in the rest of the first half and most of the second. Mia Ordeig scored the 2-0 and seven minutes later Marc Gual closed the scoreboard with the 3-0.
Now Catalonia will travel to Vic, where tomorrow begins the Open Internacional Copa Amèrica.

GERMANY GET FIRST POSITION OF THE GROUP |
Germany has won Sather Blanes 5-2 and is the leader of group on goal average.
The Germans needed to win by more than one goal to be first and have found a very solid Sather Blanes that has scored the first goal at minute 2 -Carla Gri- but have managed to overcome this initial setback scoring three goals in three minutes -Wichardt (2) and Sesterhen-. Carla Gri has scored her second goal just five minutes before the break and returned to put his team within the game.
In the second half has continued the struggle until Sesterhen scored two more goals that decided the 5-2 final. With this result the Germans will play the semifinal with France at 16:00 and Chile will play the other semifinal against Catalonia at 17:15.

CATALONIA BEAT ARGENTINA AND IS FIRST OF GROUP |
Catalonia has beaten Argentina 4-2 and is classified for the semifinals as first of group.
"Motxa" Barceló scored first (min. 8) and three minutes later Daiana Silva tied the match, a result that has been kept until three minutes before the break, when Berta Tarrida scored the 2-1. In the second half the Catalans have continued searching to score again and Carla Giudicci has done 3-1, but a minute later Salomé Rodriguez has returned the suspense to the game with the 3-2. It was not until the last minute when Carla Giudicci has scored the final 4-2. With this result France will play the other semifinal as beats Argentina on goal average.
